2nd Chronicles 8 Solomon and his wives...trouble in the making!




  Good Thursday to each of you, far and wide, although not as far and wide today as Tuesday, before I was deplatformed from X on Wednesday. This brought me great sorrow, and with deeper research, I determined that the automated system that found me guilty was correct. I had broken a rule, but the rule's language was very ambiguous, especially since the platform provides the tool I used to accidentally break the rule…LOL!! I will appeal a second time in a few days, and maybe a human will review the appeal. If this is what a fully AI world will be like, things will be rather strict and heartless! Hey, a thought, if any of you are on X, copy and paste this on X and include @elonmusk, and maybe he will send it for review… But I am rambling again, let’s get to The Daily Bible Challenge.

  We are in chapter 8 of 2nd Chronicles, and it is full of interesting tidbits to dig into. Such as the reason for the new house for the queen, because she is spiritually unclean, being an Egyptian, not a Hebrew. It is interesting to me that with all his wisdom, Solomon didn’t see how if she was unclean for living where the Ark had been, then how was she ok to marry and have in his bed? This is just one of the clues to the impending downfall of Solomon; all these foreign wives brought with them false gods and customs that are abhorrent to the one True God. Judges 7 God dealing with the pride of man, through Gideon

 Good morning, we have made it to Wednesday, and all is good! What an incredible God story we have in Today’s Daily Bible Challenge as we read/listen to Judges 7. I can only imagine what Gideon must have been feeling as God took away twenty-two thousand of his soldiers. God did this as Gideon was preparing for a battle in which he was already outnumbered by tens of thousands! But Gideon remained faithful, and then God took it from ten thousand to just three hundred! 1st Kings 4 Promises kept, although slower that planned!

    Good morning, I hope this letter finds you and yours well. We are doing well here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood. With two hounds at my feet and a tiny cat in my lap, I write to all of you with great joy in my heart! It has been such a blessing to see this blog grow so much this past year, not for my gain but for God’s glory. Please humor me as I catch up on some details for long-time readers on our project list here on the homestead.   The pressure washing will start here on the house today, and the paint should start Monday if the weather holds up for us. Some of the siding got dirty as this project started over two years ago. (even under a real tarp, dirt crept in).
