2nd Chronicles 20 He was this close!

It is the Lord’s day. What are you going to do with it? We will go to gather with our church family, and there will be much praise and worship, and of course, much fellowship! This is Palm Sunday, with Easter next weekend, we are overjoyed to celebrate Jesus' first choosing to die to pay for our sins, and then rising from the dead so we can too! There is life after death, but there is also a great life here as servants of Christ. Sharing this new life in Christ with others is what I live for; it is my calling to share this with you and to share The Daily Bible Challenge with you so that you can learn more about God and grow in a Saving Relationship with God!

My little cat does not seem to want me to share this with you this morning, she is in my lap under my keyboard, reaching up and licking and gently biting my fingers as I type…LOL! She is full-grown and only about six pounds and thinks my lap is her bed. Well, she has managed to distract me enough to get a mention here, but we are here for The Daily Bible Challenge in 2nd Chronicles 20. We will read/listen to the account of Jehoshaphat, almost finishing strong. He gets closer than many of the kings we have been reading about. He seeks God first in a great battle (one no one but God had to fight). No, literally no man had to lift a finger; God arranged a supernatural victory!

Click the link below and listen to the audiobook for yourself; it is about a six-minute read. If only he had sought God’s will in this final alliance, he would have finished strong in God’s plan, but alas, he failed in his last days. I hope I can finish strong in this life. I don’t care if my name is remembered, but I would like my faith and dedication to God not to be tarnished by failure at my end! What will you do about your legacy? Will you seek the Lord and then finish strong in your new life in Christ? If you have questions on how to start this new life in Chrost, please contact us via PM/DM, and we will get back with you shortly!

  Talk with you soon!
