2nd Chronicles 10

Good Saturday morning, it is still early as I write this letter to all of you. I love early mornings awaiting the sunrise here in my little corner office overlooking The Little Hundred Acre Wood! Moving here, now over 8 years ago, was the best decision we ever made! Our home is almost complete on the exterior; there are still some plans for the interior, but those will be waiting a while now as we enter this year of healing. My darling bride is going through a course called Healing Hearts Ministry, and God is using that to take her to a new place of harmony with her past wounds. I am so proud of her in this journey of hard work and turning to God for answers. Moving here and finding a church home and a rural lifestyle has allowed us to heal ourselves and our marriage and grow closer than we have ever been as we seek God’s plans for our lives! But soon I will start a bunch of doctor’s appointments to get to the bottom of some health issues. I have no fear because God’s got this, regardless of the outcome. Well, there I go again rambling on and on, at least I didn’t write about my antique truck this time..LOL!

Let’s get to chapter 10 of 2nd Chronicles for Today’s Daily Bible Challenge! We are listening to the account of Rehoboam, the foolish young son who became king after his father Solomon passed away. In my written Bible, this has the heading of “Rahoboam’s Reign of Folly.” What a way to be remembered! Well, without giving this short chapter all away, let's just say he took some foolish counsel and ignored some good counsel from those with more experience! Click the link below and listen for yourself, and reflect on how you may have acted in his shoes.

  Talk with you soon!
