2nd Kings 25 Judah Falls

Judah falls to the king of Babylon. Just how far down did the sins of Israel drag her? That is what we will listen to in Today’s Daily Bible Challenge as we dive into the final chapter of the books of 1st and 2nd Kings. Remember, I do not claim to be a Biblical scholar, though I have read it cover to cover many times. But many points in this chapter leave me asking more questions, with little reference material to dig into; many of those questions will remain unanswered. I can live with that, because I understand and even cherish my mere mortal perspective. Cherish you ask? Yes, I understand how big God has to be to keep all this together, and I am happy to have no part of that! So sometimes if it is not a central salvation issue, I just let it go and trust in God with all His Wisdom!

The deceiver wants us to believe we can control everything, and we are a central character in this play, but God has humbled me enough to know I am at best a supporting character with few lines of importance!

So here are my lines: Please join us in The Daily Bible Challenge, where we read/listen to the whole Bible cover to cover in context! You just click the link below, and an audiobook provided by BLB.ORG will pop up and read it to you in everyday modern English. But it was translated from the original Greek and Hebrew, so don’t worry about any translation losses!

If you have questions about a relationship with God or about the chapter for any given day, we welcome those through PM/DM.

  Talk with you soon!
