2nd Kings 23

Good Thursday morning from the little corner office overlooking The Little Hundred Acre Wood! I just love the account of King Josiah in the last few chapters of 2nd Kings, but alas, today we are in chapter 23 and are reading/listening to the account of Josiah’s death. His life’s story/historical account is one that I didn’t want to hear end! He epitomizes what it looks like to be on fire for the Lord. In fact, I would venture to say that this is what it looks like to allow God to be the Lord of your life! He found God’s word and started leading all his people to follow Him, instead of all the evil ways they had been following! Please don’t overlook the references to child sacrifice by fire again mentioned in today’s chapter. These were really evil people, as we are if we don’t cling to God’s moral compass; He left us the instruction book for a life worth living! Click the link below to hear it for yourself. After all, I am just some stranger on the internet!

Talk with you soon!
