2nd Kings 20
Good Monday morning! What a great halftime show that was from TPUSA last night! I didn’t catch that Kid Rock did two performances; I didn’t recognize him in the second! Overall, it was a great halftime performance! There were a couple of production issues, but no wardrobe malfunctions LOL! The commercials were not up to the usual standards. Madeline and I really don’t keep up with football anymore, but we always watch for the commercials. This year, we never even turned on the game and watched the commercials on YouTube afterward. I wonder what the NFL is thinking with all this? I guess we are more of a baseball house!
Well, I am rambling again. Let’s get to 2nd Kings chapter 20 for Today’s Daily Bible Challenge. Where we see King Hezekiah get granted fifteen more years to live by God, talk about the power of prayer! But afterwards, he goes off the deep end and shows off his crib/digs and treasures to total strangers. Kind of reminds me of some old Super Bowl commercials! Like some rich pimped-out rapper is walking us through his earthly treasures. You can’t help but think of how such prideful behavior is bound to lead to destruction! Click the link below and listen to the NASB 95 version of this account of history!
Talk with you soon!
