1st Cronicles 5 I promise chapter 5 is more than just names!

Good morning. My darling bride is home safe and resting well after her journey, granddog sitting in H-town. I made a simple dinner for us, and we had it out on the deck as the sun started to set. Then a movie and early turn in for me, I am sure she stayed up late, but I was out like a light! Today, we have some projects, including returning all the clean linens to the crisis shelter at the church. I washed all of it while she was gone, but now we will put the place back together as a team. We like to get it totally ready for the next clients, so we are not caught off guard in the middle of the night. Hey, sorry, rambling again, let’s get to The Daily Bible Challenge in 1st Chronicles 5.

A couple of points of interest here: Israel was the new name given to Jacob, which can confuse readers when these names appear, as it sounds like a place rather than a person. Also, see how big a curse it is to defile your father's bed as Reuben did, even losing his birthright! Click the link below to hear more about it!

  Talk with you soon!
