1st Chronicles 9 Goodbye to Eyore
Good Monday to each of you near and far! My darling bride and I have a drive into the big city for bloodwork this morning. We always follow these trips with breakfast at the Cracker Barrel in Weatherford, TX. It has become a silly tradition for us, as neither of us likes being stuck, especially after fasting for the tests! We are getting used to it now, as this is a regular thing when you have Hashimoto's disease. We hope to vote on the way back, and then I have to do some work on the old Eyore before delivering her to her new owner later today. Goodbye Eyore, we will miss you! But Eyore two is still going strong, and without all the computers and sensors, she may just run for the rest of my life! Well, I am rambling again, so let’s stop all this jabber-jawing and get to Today’s Daily Bible Challenge in 1st Chronicles 9.
There is a little more meat in today’s chapter, but alas, it is still mostly genealogy. With some interesting characters along the way, such as the fourth Korah, who found a way to get God so mad that he and his people were all swallowed up by the earth! This may be the only person in history who managed to earn such a fate! If you skim over this part of the Bible, you might be missing quite a bit. It only takes a small amount of digging to glean something from each of these genealogy chapters. Start with a simple search on gotquestions.org, searching only the chapter name and number to learn more! Have a great Monday!
Talk with you soon!
