Judges 4 Boring old book A? War, betrayal and murder, it's all here in the Bible!

Good morning, all you early risers across the world! It is Sunday, I have had my Sabbath’s rest yesterday and am ready for action today! It is exciting to live a life following your calling! My calling is two-fold: it is to tell people about the Gospel of Christ and then challenge them with The Daily Bible Challenge, where we read/listen to the whole Bible cover to cover!

The Hope of this ministry is that you, too, will read all of the Bible and stop listening to gossip/lies about God and start listening to God about God! You see, most people who talk to you about God have never even read any of His word in context.

A word here or a sentence there plucked out of context could be applied to all kinds of lies about God! We are mere mortals, so understanding all of God’s attributes can be very difficult, if not impossible! But trying to learn more about Him one sentence at a time can be fatal in the overall timeline of our lives!

Applying Old Testament Levitical Law to your life as a modern-day Gentile-Christian, removed from its context, can turn into pure folly rather quickly. So learn first about the Old Covenant that applied to the Jews that God delivered from Slavery in Egypt, then learn about the New Covenant that Jesus brought to us in the New Testament. Apply them both in context to your life and start watching how God will bless your efforts! We are still under the Law of God, especially the Ten Commandments, but our New Covenant is different than that Old Covenant of the Jews in the Old Testament. But please don’t take my word for it, dig in and learn for yourself by accepting the Challenge!

The Daily Bible Challenge is here as a free ministry and would not be possible without the services provided by another free ministry, The Blue Letter Bible. We support BLB.ORG and hope you will feel led to do so also! As for now, the only ways to support The Daily Bible Challenge itself are to accept the Challenge and to pray for our mission!

Today, we are in Judges 4, and there are battles, intrigue, deception, and even murder in these paragraphs. It is a four-minute read/listen, but it is full of so much action, it is hard to believe people think the Bible is boring! Well, except for parts of Leviticus, I guess…please forgive me, God! We always welcome your comments and questions via PM/DM on any platform you are reading this on! Click the link to listen for yourself and join the Challenge!

 Talk with you soon!
