Deuteronomy 18 Witchcraft and Otherworldly ROI

   


  Good Friday morning, I hope this letter finds you and yours well! We are in Deuteronomy 18 for Today’s Daily Bible Challenge. Here we read of how we are to compensate the Priests of the Levitical order. I would imagine that at least part of these rules would also include how Christian Pastors are to be treated.

  Some Pastors would not like this at all, and others would probably be quite happy with it! We also have direct instructions on avoiding witchcraft and those who call up the dead! There is also a reminder of why God wanted the inhabitants of the promised land eliminated, as they were sacrificing their children by fire! Judges 7 God dealing with the pride of man, through Gideon

 Good morning, we have made it to Wednesday, and all is good! What an incredible God story we have in Today’s Daily Bible Challenge as we read/listen to Judges 7. I can only imagine what Gideon must have been feeling as God took away twenty-two thousand of his soldiers. God did this as Gideon was preparing for a battle in which he was already outnumbered by tens of thousands! But Gideon remained faithful, and then God took it from ten thousand to just three hundred! 1st Kings 4 Promises kept, although slower that planned!

    Good morning, I hope this letter finds you and yours well. We are doing well here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood. With two hounds at my feet and a tiny cat in my lap, I write to all of you with great joy in my heart! It has been such a blessing to see this blog grow so much this past year, not for my gain but for God’s glory. Please humor me as I catch up on some details for long-time readers on our project list here on the homestead.   The pressure washing will start here on the house today, and the paint should start Monday if the weather holds up for us. Some of the siding got dirty as this project started over two years ago. (even under a real tarp, dirt crept in). A brother from church has asked to do the work, and he is very experienced with painting with the high-pressure spray type rig I am providing.
