Deuteronomy 6 Can you change your family dynamic? Well God can!

Good morning, my daughter stayed with my bride last night. I got my first real sleep in about 48 hours and feel like I can be the husband I need to be now, as our adult kids will all be returning home today. I am not going to sugarcoat this: Madeline was in a life-threatening situation and was in septic shock when I took her to the ER on Friday morning. But she was stable when I left last night, and is doing well and is out of ICU needs. I thank you for all the prayers. We have felt the power of our God, Jesus, the Christ, working through your prayers for us! Madeline will need many weeks of recovery, according to the doctors, unless God wants her healed sooner! But if not, she has great support from friends and family. We trust in God with all our strength, as Moses was instructing his people to do in Deuteronomy 6, for Today’s Daily Bible Challenge!

Moses made it so crystal clear and easy to follow in this chapter. I think we could learn so much about how to live life with our families in this chapter. If only the family structure were still set up with fathers, sons, and grandfathers still involved! We have broken the family dynamic, and with it, we lost a lot of the traditions passed down from one generation to the next! Click the link below to listen for yourself and see if you might be able to mend some of the fences in your family tree to reconnect with your heritage. I know this is not always possible from an abuse victim’s perspective, but with God and prayer, all people can be saved and become a new life in Christ, dying to the old and becoming the new! Through that new creation, there can be great healing in families!

 Talk with you soon!
