Exodus 22 Is the Castle Doctrine in the Bible?

Good Morning and Happy Sabbath to you! I have breakfast with some men this morning, so this will be short. This group of men tries to hold each other accountable in this life, and we are like brothers. I think we all need a group of brothers or sisters like this to help cope with this life.

Speaking of coping, Today’s Daily Bible Challenge in Exodus 22 is more foundational work on the needed rules of life for a society to function well. These are the Moses laws again, and they are a practical version of what the Ten Commandments would look like if put into practice. We even have a kind of foundation for the Castle Doctrine here. Yes, there are some cultural differences here that are hard for us Americans to overlook, but generally, these rules would set up a good plan for justice.

Click the link below and listen for yourself, and join us as we listen to the whole Bible one (and sometimes two) chapters at a time. In doing this, you will become one of the statistically few who have even read one whole chapter! No wonder why our society is so screwed up!

Talk with you soon!
