Genesis 35

Do you like to travel? What image does that pop into your head? Is it jumping on a plane and staying at fancy hotels, or is it loading up in a motorcoach that costs more than an average home? Or maybe it is loading up a tent and some sleeping bags, and some food in the back of your car or pickup, and heading out to rough it? Well, whatever image that brings, it was not rough enough to describe the travel for Jacob/Israel and Rachel in chapter 35 of Genesis. Try walking or riding a camel pregnant and very close to your due date. But Jacob was faithful to God as he was told to pick up and move to Bethel!
