Genesis 21 Am I pigheaded?
Good morning, I got a lot of pushback on yesterday’s post, some from faraway lands, some from my own backyard.
But that is great from my perspective, this blog exists for the readers, not for my ego! My calling was to inspire
people to read/listen to the whole Bible cover to cover. I am not here so much to teach but to be transparent and
fully human in my faults and opinions. So no, I don’t think I would like Abraham, yet God favored him greatly, that
makes me ponder my own weaknesses, and as a good friend put it yesterday;
“ 1. God can use highly flawed people (grateful for that)
2. We can find faith in unusual places (excited for that) ”
Thank you Stan your wisdom and perspective it is always appreciated! So when you see me make a bold statement
(sometimes even questionable), I may just be trying to make you think about a particular part of the Bible chapter
for that day, or I might actually be being a pig-headed human LOL!
Someday, I might be standing before God or even Abraham, apologizing for some of these statements, but if you
stopped and thought about Abraham and his imperfections and then maybe thought about your own imperfections
too, then I have at least accomplished some of my goals! You see, we all need a Savior and should all want a
Lord (all of us are flawed, like Abraham), and Jesus is both Savior and Lord for us who accept His gift for us! If
you have questions about how to accept His Gift, my darling bride and I would love to discuss it with you via
Direct Messaging.
Talk with you soon!
