The dragon and the beast Revelation 13

    Well, the closest thing to dragons here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood is the occasional lizard of one form or another. But those have a hard time here with all the Roadrunners, we have! We have a nesting pair of Roadrunners here in one of our cedars almost every year now. Today’s Daily Bible Challenge is one of those chapters that I would rather talk about The Little Hundred Acre Wood than to discuss the terrifying details of this chapter! Today is a day of car repairs and maintenance around the homestead. I look forward to completing some of these projects on the new to me Eeyore #2 truck. But other projects are still waiting on parts to arrive. Well, I better get back on the task at hand, the book of Revelation 13…

    We are in the thick of it now in Revelation 13. If you are a mid/post-trib guy like me, these details are tough because we need to be prepared to live through them as bondservants of Christ! If I have this right, the dragon is satan and the beast in this chapter is the antichrist, a man and a ruler. We will know this is him, when he gets a fatal head wound and it heals. Then there will be another that comes to drive others to worship the antichrist, (yes, worship a man). There is one other important fact in here, towards the end, notice that the mark is not 666 but is calculated to be 666 or some early texts say 616. This mark will fool many but it is a certain pathway to hell and must be resisted at all costs, even death! It would be better to starve to death than to go to hell! This mark will be placed on the hand or the forehead and no one will be allowed to do any business without it! I will stick to having cash or bartering, thank you very much! I may need more chickens or something to barter with! But I plan to refuse any mark on hand or forehead just to be safe!

Leviticus 9 Be a doer of God's word! It is a safer place to be, don't make stuff up on your own!

   Good morning, I will keep my ramblings very short this morning because we are doing two chapters for Todfay's Daily Bible Challenge. We are listening to chapters 9 and 10 of Leviticus. Chapter ten has something new for you to help break the difficult monotony of Leviticus! When the audiobook finishes chapter nine, just wait three seconds, and chapter ten will start on its own.    God was very clear in His instructions, and Moses and Aaron presented the details very clearly. God’s wrath was stirred when things were not followed correctly! Two sons of Aaron were made examples of by God to establish just how serious He was about how to run the tabernacle and the rituals of sacrifice. Exodus 10-11 Locusts and much worse on the way!

     Good Wednesday morning to all of you! It is a strange morning for mid-May here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood. It is 57 degrees, and for us, that is a cold morning in May; our mornings are typically 76 degrees or more by this date. I will take full advantage of the cool weather for a project on my antique truck! Soon enough, we will have triple-digit weather for at least 3 months, so we will take advantage of any breaks like today! Later, I have a lunch with my son and my bride of 38 years in a small town a bit south of us. I love these little excursions just for fun or even for work, travel is something that is set in my bones for life! Soon we will be able to take some of these trips in my little antique truck, and that will make it even more of an adventure! But none of my adventures can hold a candle to Moses and Aaron as they battled with a king, the pharaoh of Egypt.
