Revelation 21 The New Challenge

Good morning to all of you around the world and around the corner, it is with mixed emotions as we are about to finish Revelation. It is a fascinating chapter, with such imagery that it is hard to see all the wonder! I can’t even imagine a world without night and without the sea but that is what is described here! A world without a sun because God’s light shines everywhere! Please join us by clicking the link below and listen for yourself! This can be a pretty intense mental journey, I am not sure I like the sound of all of this, but in those times we must trust in God that it will be all He says it will be!

   We are about to finish the New Testament together, wow what an adventure this has been! We only have today's and tomorrow’s chapters, if you have been with us for the whole Bible congratulations! You have become one of the statistical few that have actually read the whole Bible cover to cover! If that is you, here is your new challenge; What are you going to do with this accomplishment? God challenges us all who have a new life in Him to go and make disciples around the earth! Just what does that mean? We are to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ as the Messiah and how He came not to condemn us but to save us from ourselves and our sinful choices. Our sin choices do the condemning, we willingly choose to walk away from God when we choose sin! He literally died a terrible and shameful death out of His love for you! He did that to pay the price for your deliverance from sins wages (death and destruction). In a sense, He paid for your ticket to ride to heaven for eternity! One great way to say thank you to Him is to tell others what He has done for you! That is what I am doing here each day! Now what will you do? Please have an impact on someone, even if it is your little neighbor Dennis the Menace! Tell someone about Jesus, maybe the cashier at the grocery store or the server at your favorite restaurant! Help someone in need and tell them you do this because Jesus loves them and therefore so do you! Jesus is looking for doers of His word! It is a new way of life and it brings much Joy to live this way! It is a life where we get off our duff and serve and stop sitting there soaking it all up as if it all exists for our consumption!

Leviticus 9 Be a doer of God's word! It is a safer place to be, don't make stuff up on your own!

   Good morning, I will keep my ramblings very short this morning because we are doing two chapters for Todfay's Daily Bible Challenge. We are listening to chapters 9 and 10 of Leviticus. Chapter ten has something new for you to help break the difficult monotony of Leviticus! When the audiobook finishes chapter nine, just wait three seconds, and chapter ten will start on its own.    God was very clear in His instructions, and Moses and Aaron presented the details very clearly. God’s wrath was stirred when things were not followed correctly! Two sons of Aaron were made examples of by God to establish just how serious He was about how to run the tabernacle and the rituals of sacrifice. Exodus 10-11 Locusts and much worse on the way!

     Good Wednesday morning to all of you! It is a strange morning for mid-May here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood. It is 57 degrees, and for us, that is a cold morning in May; our mornings are typically 76 degrees or more by this date. I will take full advantage of the cool weather for a project on my antique truck! Soon enough, we will have triple-digit weather for at least 3 months, so we will take advantage of any breaks like today! Later, I have a lunch with my son and my bride of 38 years in a small town a bit south of us. I love these little excursions just for fun or even for work, travel is something that is set in my bones for life! Soon we will be able to take some of these trips in my little antique truck, and that will make it even more of an adventure! But none of my adventures can hold a candle to Moses and Aaron as they battled with a king, the pharaoh of Egypt.
