Revelation 10

   Good morning, if your life is one where you live for Fridays, you have made it! Our life used to be like that, even when we thought we loved our work more than anything else, it was still a burden instead of a joy. Mostly because of our own poor decisions! These days are almost always different, most days are full of Joy! (Capitalized as an attribute of God). So to try to simplify this concept; we now live for God and live for serving Him as a bondservants, yes we still screw up sometimes, but living a life following the Holy Spirit is full of Joy in almost every minute of every day. Yes, we still get excited for the weekends but it is mostly for getting to work for God and His people on Sundays! But I also get to do that daily in The Daily Bible Challenge, writing to each of you. 

   Now I am in no way saying that you should write a daily blog and you too will find Joy! If God calls you to do that, please don’t hesitate! But He may have made you for a completely different purpose! Find that purpose and get moving toward that, and it will have an amazing ROI for you, and if you stick closely to God’s word I can guarantee you it will have an ROI for others (Isa 55:11 look it up).  We do have a God given purpose here on earth, but while finding that all of us are to tell people about what God has done in our life, that is the Gospel (the good news). We through the work of Jesus the one that is the Christ (Messiah), are forgiven and washed clean by His blood that He shed on the cross, so we can return to God in heaven, until this washing, we are not allowed into the presence of God. 

   So let's get to Revelation 10 where we read about what happens to the scroll (little book) that the Lamb had previously opened the seals on. John is told to eat it! Why do you think he was to eat it, and why was it sweet in his mouth and bitter in his stomach? What was said from the seven peals of thunder and why was John allowed to hear but was not allowed to write about them? I don’t want you to think I can answer those questions, I am not sure anyone can except God Himself, but I love to challenge you to ponder Godly things, as His children, we should have wonder about His ways!       Good Friday morning to all of you! We have a busy day today with behind-the-scenes work for God and His people. This is the kind of thing most people don’t even think of, yet it is part of making all the pieces fit together in a church. There are so many people reaching out in need every week around the world, but behind the scenes, someone is vetting the recipients, and then after that, others are serving them with hearts full of hope and love! You may be asking, “What is this vetting”? Well, to be good stewards of God’s resources, someone needs to make sure these are not con artists going from church to church and other organizations every month, taking advantage and living high off the generosity of others and stealing those resources from the truly needy. But after the vetting, there is only love, support, and opportunities to grow and find a pathway to break the chains of poverty. Exodus 16 God's Provision, Manna

 God's Provision, Manna Good morning from the little corner office overlooking the rainy and thoroughly soaked, Little Hundred Acre Wood. There are still flashes of extreme lightning in the distance. I have always loved this artwork, but it seems to have passed by and is on its way east. This provision of rain will be nourishing our grape orchard, and it’s just in time to save the young grapes, our largest crop ever after planting five years ago now. These are all table grapes, and our weather is not ideal for growing these. Maybe this year will be our first real abundance of grapes! We are quite entrenched in The Little Hundred Acre Wood now, this will be the longest we have lived in one house, seven years has always marked big changes in our lives. Who knows what God will bring this time, or if He has plans for us to stay planted here for the rest of our days.
