Genesis 6 What if Noah and the Ark are not fairytales

    Oh, bother, what to do with these strange accounts in the Bible? Our modern-day schools have taught us so much differently than what the Bible tells us. What if Genesis 6 (the building of the Ark) is true and the science of evolution and creation has a great bias in its accounts? What if we do find the remains of an ark on Mount Ararat? What if the great canyons of this earth were really formed by a rapid draining of floodwaters? We were taught theories as facts in school, so why not listen to this historical account and ponder its possibilities as being fact, or are you too biased for that?

   Do you believe in magic? Well to most who witness God’s miracles, would consider them at least otherworldly or magic! Now I am not defining miracles as black magic I am using the word “magic” as just an event that is unexplainable to our current scientific understanding of what is possible. Words are very important here because I don’t want to come across as someone who believes in magic shows or fairytales. I am quite analytic by nature maybe even to a fault! 

   So we have proven that you can build an Ark of Biblical proportions, it is in Williamstown, Kentucky. I have not been but we plan on it maybe pretty soon!  We have great mysteries in the fossilized layers and records. So we have at the very least enough anomalies in the science to consider other possibilities. I am one that cannot even fathom everything from nothing theories and I see intelligent design everywhere I look in plants, animals, and the earth itself! The more I read and understand about carbon dating flaws the more I don’t believe our current science. Our current study of physics is trapped in flawed theories from close to a hundred years ago. The more I read and study the Bible the more clear it all comes to me; God as the Creator is much more plausible than our current science! 

   So here is Today’s Daily Bible Challenge, see if you can have at least a slightly open mind the next three days as we read/listen to the historical account of Noah and the Ark. Try to ask what if God was real, could He make all these difficult things happen? Oh, you may want to even say a little prayer first, like God please reveal your truth to me in these words this morning, open my eyes to your possibilities!

Leviticus 9 Be a doer of God's word! It is a safer place to be, don't make stuff up on your own!

   Good morning, I will keep my ramblings very short this morning because we are doing two chapters for Todfay's Daily Bible Challenge. We are listening to chapters 9 and 10 of Leviticus. Chapter ten has something new for you to help break the difficult monotony of Leviticus! When the audiobook finishes chapter nine, just wait three seconds, and chapter ten will start on its own.    God was very clear in His instructions, and Moses and Aaron presented the details very clearly. God’s wrath was stirred when things were not followed correctly! Two sons of Aaron were made examples of by God to establish just how serious He was about how to run the tabernacle and the rituals of sacrifice. Exodus 10-11 Locusts and much worse on the way!

     Good Wednesday morning to all of you! It is a strange morning for mid-May here on The Little Hundred Acre Wood. It is 57 degrees, and for us, that is a cold morning in May; our mornings are typically 76 degrees or more by this date. I will take full advantage of the cool weather for a project on my antique truck! Soon enough, we will have triple-digit weather for at least 3 months, so we will take advantage of any breaks like today! Later, I have a lunch with my son and my bride of 38 years in a small town a bit south of us. I love these little excursions just for fun or even for work, travel is something that is set in my bones for life! Soon we will be able to take some of these trips in my little antique truck, and that will make it even more of an adventure! But none of my adventures can hold a candle to Moses and Aaron as they battled with a king, the pharaoh of Egypt.
