Good morning. It is Friday, so those of you who live for the weekend, you made it! But as always, I challenge you to live for every single day because there are so few, there is no time to waste! You have so many chances to be God’s instrument of change in this world! So here are some things to research for chapter 2 of the book of Revelation. Who are the seven churches and do they still exist today? Where were the seven churches? What were their transgressions against God? Will we be left here to face persecution in the end times or will we get the Hollywood version and be raptured away before persecution?
I am not here to make all this easy for you, you need to make the investment of your time in God’s word if you expect an ROI of any kind! Your work here is not to earn salvation, but it can be to further your understanding of what is needed to begin a saving relationship with Jesus, the one that is the Christ. If you are new here, Christ is not His last name, it means Messiah or Savior. If you come here often, you will read my words referring to Him as Jesus, the one that is the Christ. He was not merely a man who was a prophet, He was God’s son sent to us as a sacrifice for our sinful nature. God loved us enough to die for us willingly! God did this so we can have a ticket on the train to heaven, we don’t earn this but we can be grateful for it, and show that gratitude by serving Him, kind of like saying thank you God for all you did for us to spend eternity in heaven, instead of the alternative that is hell, we will read more about that later in Revelation! So Today’s Daily Bible Challenge is Revelation 2. It will be challenging to even the most learned Christians, but is good reading for the newbies too!
