Good morning, I hope this letter finds you and yours well and in good spirits! I was able to get the inside farmhouse trim on the last two new windows in my little corner office yesterday before heading out to our community group with my darling bride Madeline last night. Today I will finish all three windows with caulking and some tiny molding and paint. I am not the best at pacing myself as my mind still thinks my body is twenty-five, but my body keeps my mind honest these days! If the part arrives, I am also going to install a clock spring on a truck I just sold. I sure look forward to Elon’s crew getting to the post office, as this part is currently late and tracking shows it for two days now making the 1 hour trip from Fort Worth to Granbury! Life is full of such delays, but this lady needs her new truck and I need the money LOL! I will probably buy the part locally today and send the other one back if it ever arrives!
If you are already a believer and are just here for the Bible, this may be a good point to just click the link to BLB.ORG below and listen to Jude! So why do I ramble on this way when this is a Bible Challenge, not a personal activities blog? Because we are to be transparent as followers of Christ. Our lives are full of struggles just like everyone else. But we are to live not of this world, just in it! We are to face these challenges with a kind and loving spirit, not a bitter heart for not getting our way! In doing so we will reflect God’s love to others and make them curious about God and if they can have a life like this too! So please bear with me as I get to share God’s story of what He has done with this formally drunken, angry soul who now lives a life full of Joy regardless of our circumstances! Well, at least most days, somedays I fail and get frustrated, after all, I am a mere human!
Today’s Daily Bible Challenge is Jude 1, and it is full of steps to keep your eye on God as you go through the struggles of living in this world. But as with lots of these books, there is a good warning of why we need to heed the word of the Lord and repent. As always we welcome your comments and questions via Direct Messaging!
Talk with you soon!
